Who Is Kachitchi?
An oriental magpie â black-and-white-winged, with an iridescent sheen and the alert, forward-leaning posture of a bird that is always about to do something. Kachi (éµ²) is the Japanese word for magpie, and in Japanese tradition, the magpie is a bird of good fortune and celebration â its cry (kachi, kachi) is homophonous with the word for “victory” (åã¡, kachi). Kachitchi arrives at the top of its species line carrying that auspicious association.
The perfect-care result for the Forest Field’s Forest Chirp Species, the pomegranate-food path. Kachitchi is the character you get when everything goes right â zero mistakes, maxed meters, and a bird that looks like winning.

How to Get Kachitchi
Step 1 â Be on the Jade Forest shell
The Forest Field is only available on the Jade Forest shell among the 2025 Paradise launch lineup.
Step 2 â Feed Pomegranate during the Kid stage
Target food type: Pomegranate
Specific foods: Persimmon, Pomegranate â from the shop. Che Thai â cooked.
Feed until you have at least one Pomegranate icon showing in your Tama Cell, then switch to Pellets.
Step 3 â Hit the right care level
Requirement: Zero care mistakes AND hunger maxed 5+ times AND happiness maxed 5+ times during the Young stage.
What perfect care actually requires:
1. Zero total care mistakes across the Kid and Young stages combined
2. Hunger meter maxed at least 5 times during the Young stage
3. Happiness meter maxed at least 5 times during the Young stage
Zero mistakes without the meter maxes gives Tokipatchi (0â1 bracket) instead.
How to max the meters efficiently:
â Play the UFO mini-game for +10 happiness per win â fastest method
â Feed proactively to accumulate rice ball icons
â Check Cell View for 5 rice ball and 5 sun icons before evolution

Fun Facts
The oriental magpie (Pica serica) is found across East Asia and holds deep cultural significance â in Japan, magpies are associated with the arrival of good news, and in Korea, the magpie is a national symbol. The name kachi carries a triple meaning in Japanese: the magpie’s cry, the word for victory, and the beginning of many auspicious phrases (kachi kachi, also the name of a famous Japanese folktale involving a tanuki â providing a subtle internal connection to Tanoontchi in the Forest Roar line). Kachitchi arriving at the top of its species line â the perfect-care reward â makes the “victory” etymology feel intentional.
Food Preferences
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Favorite type | Berry/fruit items â Persimmon, Pomegranate, Che Thai, Fruit Cake (small, rich, colorful foods suited to an omnivorous bird) |
| Disliked foods | Large meat items â Big Meat, Steak trigger rejection |
| Note | Magpies are omnivorous scavengers with a preference for small items. Kachitchi preferring seeds and small fruit over large meat follows the bird’s real feeding behavior. Thematic inference; verify in-game. |
Personality & Raising Tips
Drain rates aren’t yet documented for Kachitchi in the English community. Once confirmed, this section will update with specific maintenance guidance.
The Forest Chirp path requires Pomegranate foods during Kid (Persimmon, Pomegranate, or Che Thai). These are specific to the Forest Field shop â stock them before starting. The Pomegranate path is the only fruit-type food evolution in the Forest Field, which makes it distinct from the meat (Peking), bamboo, and default-pellet paths of other species.
For intentional Kachitchi runs: Pomegranate food during Kid until the icon appears, then full perfect care through Young. UFO mini-game for happiness maxes, proactive feeding for hunger maxes, zero ignored care calls. The 30% sick chance gives more margin than other fields’ 35% if something goes wrong during the Young stage.
Personality in lore: Sharp, celebratory, and moving through the world with the confidence of something that knows the auspicious connotations of its own name. Kachitchi lands somewhere between lucky charm and proud winner â not arrogant, but aware. Fans often describe getting Kachitchi as feeling like a reward beyond the game mechanics, which is exactly what a bird named “victory” is supposed to produce.
Who Should Raise Kachitchi?
Kachitchi is for dedicated players who can commit to zero care mistakes plus full hunger and happiness meter maxing during the Young stage. Exact drain rates are not yet confirmed, which means the specific check-in schedule is still pending community data, but the perfect-care bar applies regardless of timer speed. You must own the Jade Forest shell â Kachitchi is exclusive to it. The 30% sick chance is the Forest Field’s standard structural advantage: if something goes wrong during the perfect-care push, illness is less likely here than on any other shell’s fields at 35%.
How Kachitchi Compares
Kachitchi’s exact drain rates are not yet documented. Among Forest Chirp siblings, Tokipatchi (70/60) provides a near-perfect reference point, and Kuchipatchi-Forest (30/90) represents the extreme inverse for the species. Kachitchi as the perfect-care result might be expected to have the most comfortable drain profile in the line, though this isn’t confirmed. Among all Forest Field perfect-care characters with known stats, Forest Horhotchi (70/60) and Lessapantchi (60/80) and Shiitaketchi (undocumented) give the bracket context. The 30% sick chance is the Forest Field’s structural advantage â notably better than the 35% on other fields and meaningfully more forgiving during the perfect-care run where every illness threatens the zero-mistake streak.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the magpie’s “victory” meaning intentional in the character design?
Given how carefully Tamagotchi Paradise names its characters, placing a bird whose name means “victory” at the top of its care bracket (perfect care = best outcome) is almost certainly intentional. Kachitchi is the character that rewards winning behavior with a winner’s design.
Can Kachitchi appear on other shells?
No â the Forest Field is exclusive to the Jade Forest shell among the 2025 launch lineup.
Can Kachitchi breed?
Yes. All adults in Tamagotchi Paradise can breed with any compatible adult of the opposite gender. After breeding, the egg hatches into Babymarutchi and the evolution cycle starts fresh â the baby’s adult form depends on your field, food, and care choices, not on which parents bred.
About This Character’s Field
