Who Is Horhotchi (Forest)?

A boar — bristled, solid, and moving with the kind of ground-level confidence that comes from being built for forest terrain. In the Forest Field, Horhotchi takes on the specific energy of a wild boar in its native habitat: dense woodland, fallen leaves underfoot, and complete authority over its environment.

Horhotchi appears in two distinct fields in Tamagotchi Paradise: the Sky Field (Flap Species, separate page) and the Forest Field (Forest Roar Species, this page). The Forest version is raised on Peking Meat, lives on the Jade Forest shell, and reflects a different evolutionary path and set of stats from its Sky Field counterpart. Forest Horhotchi’s 30% sick chance is lower than the 35% standard on other fields. Forest Field characters as a group are slightly more forgiving when mistakes happen — illness is less likely to compound the problem.

How to Get Horhotchi (Forest)

Step 1 — Be on the Jade Forest shell
The Forest Field is only available on the Jade Forest shell among the 2025 Paradise launch lineup. Blue Water, Pink Land, and Purple Sky shells do not have a Forest Field.

Step 2 — Feed Peking Meat during the Kid stage
Target food type: Peking Meat
Specific foods: Chashu Pork, Peking Meat — from the shop. Warm Buns — cooked.

Feed until you have at least one Peking Meat icon showing in your Tama Cell, then switch to Pellets. The icon persists unless you switch fields.

Step 3 — Hit the right care level
Requirement: Zero care mistakes AND hunger maxed 5+ times AND happiness maxed 5+ times during the Young stage.

What perfect care actually requires:
1. Zero total care mistakes across the Kid and Young stages combined
2. Hunger meter maxed at least 5 times during the Young stage
3. Happiness meter maxed at least 5 times during the Young stage

Zero mistakes without the meter maxes gives Konkotchi (0–1 bracket) instead.

How to max the meters efficiently:
— Play the UFO mini-game for +10 happiness per win — fastest method
— Feed proactively to accumulate rice ball icons
— Check Cell View for 5 rice ball and 5 sun icons before evolution

Forest Horhotchi is best suited to dedicated players who can commit to zero care mistakes while also maxing both hunger and happiness meters at least five times during the Young stage. It’s a higher bar than most characters — not just perfect care, but active meter management on top of it. Both drain windows (70m hunger, 60m happiness) are comfortable enough that the real challenge is consistency over the full Young stage, not reaction time. You must own the Jade Forest shell — Forest Horhotchi cannot be obtained on any other 2025 launch shell. The Forest Field’s 30% sick chance is a structural advantage: if something does go wrong, illness is less likely to compound the problem than on other fields’ 35%.
