How to Get Forest Horhotchi
Step 1 — Get to the right field
Start in (or switch to) the Forest Field during the Baby stage. Your Babymarutchi needs 4 matching forest field cells before it evolves into a Forest Kid.
Step 2 — Feed the right food during the Kid stage
Peking Meat foods: Chashu Pork, Peking Meat (from shop/Egg Hunt), Warm Buns (cooked)
Feed enough to get at least one food icon of the correct type in your Tama Cell. You only need one dominant icon — then switch to cheap Pellets to save resources.
Step 3 — Hit the right care level during the Young stage
Your Tamagotchi needs 0 care mistakes total (Kid + Young stages combined) AND hunger meter maxed 5 or more times AND happiness meter maxed 5 or more times during the Young stage. Both conditions are required — zero mistakes alone is not enough.
Remember: care mistakes are cumulative from the Kid stage onward. If you made 2 mistakes as a Kid and want a 0–1 mistakes adult, you’re already out of range.
Track your progress in Cell View: Zoom all the way in with the dial to see spirals (care mistakes), rice ball icons (hunger maxed count), and sun icons (happiness maxed count).

All four adults in the Forest Roar Species come from Forest Roar Young, obtained by feeding Peking Meat foods during the Kid stage in the Forest Field.
