Who Is Yayacorntchi?
A corn character â celebratory, bright, and built around the idea of something that brings people together. The name combines yaya (ã¤ã¤), a playful exclamation of delight, with corn and the standard -tchi suffix. The design reads as joyful: a corn cob character that is visibly pleased to exist and pleased to meet you.
Yeyacorntchi is the secret character exclusive to the Purple Sky shell and one of the most accessible secret characters in the game â it can be reached through any Sky Young type except Rocky (Flap, Chirp, or Bumble all work). It also carries one of the most distinctive traits in all of Tamagotchi Paradise: no disliked foods. Yayacorntchi eats everything happily.

How to Get Yayacorntchi
Yayacorntchi requires two conditions that must both be met during the Young stage:
Step 1 â Be on the Purple Sky shell
Yayacorntchi is exclusive to the Purple Sky shell. It cannot be obtained on Blue Water, Pink Land, or Jade Forest regardless of how carefully you follow the other steps.
Step 2 â Reach Young stage as any Sky Young except Rocky
Any of the following qualify:
– Flap Young (Chicken food during Kid)
– Chirp Young (Corn food during Kid)
– Bumble Young (Honey food during Kid)
Rocky Young does not qualify. If you’re on the default-pellet path (no food type), you cannot get Yayacorntchi.
â ï¸ Device name swap bug: On the original three-color shells (Purple Sky, Blue Water, Pink Land), the device screen displays “Flap Young” and “Chirp Young” with their names reversed. If your device says “Flap Young,” it may actually be Chirp Young and vice versa. The Jade Forest shell shows the correct names. When in doubt, check the food type you fed during Kid â Chicken food â Flap Young (real name, regardless of what the screen says); Corn food â Chirp Young.
Step 3 â Connect to two different shell colors during the Young stage
This is the core secret requirement. Connect your Purple Sky shell Tamagotchi to a device running a different shell color while your Tama is in the Young stage. Then connect to a second different shell color.
What counts as a connection: Standard device-to-device infrared connection. Both connections must happen while your Tama is in the Young stage â connections made as a Kid or Adult do not count.
Important: The two connections must be to two different shell colors (e.g., Purple Sky â Blue Water AND Purple Sky â Pink Land). Connecting to the same color twice doesn’t count.
If all conditions are met, your Young will evolve into Yayacorntchi instead of its normal adult form.
Yayacorntchi’s Unique Trait: No Disliked Foods
Every other adult character in Tamagotchi Paradise has at least one disliked food that triggers rejection. Yayacorntchi has none.
Feed it anything â meat, sweets, fish, vegetables, bugs, manufactured food â and Yayacorntchi accepts it without complaint. This makes food management as an adult entirely frictionless. You never need to check what you’re feeding or worry about a rejection animation.
This is lore-consistent with the character’s personality: a corn character that celebrates abundance, welcomes all food, and doesn’t turn anything away.
All Four Secret Characters
Each shell has exactly one secret character, unlocked by the same general method (connect to two different shell colors during Young) with a specific Young-type restriction:
| Shell | Secret Character | Young Type Required |
|---|---|---|
| Pink Land | Chodracotchi | Lick Young ONLY |
| Blue Water | Mermarintchi | Any Water Young except Float |
| Purple Sky | Yeaycorntchi â you are here | Any Sky Young except Rocky |
| Jade Forest | Tatsutchi | Any Forest Young except Forest Sprout |
Yayacorntchi has the most flexible Young requirement of the four â any of three Sky Young types work, versus Chodracotchi’s single required path or the exclusions on the other shells.
Fun Facts
Yayacorntchi is the only character in Tamagotchi Paradise with zero disliked foods. The corn theming ties directly into the Sky Field food evolution structure: Corn is one of the three food types that produces a Young form in the Sky Field (Chirp Young), and Yayacorntchi’s design appears to be the “what if the food itself became the character” version of that ingredient. The yaya exclamation in the name is sometimes compared to a cheer or a festival shout â appropriate for a character that never turns away a meal and seems delighted by every interaction.
The Purple Sky shell’s secret being a corn character â when Corn food is one of three paths to Young evolution â is a nice piece of internal design symmetry.
Food Preferences
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Favorite type | Corn and similar â Corn on the Cob, Corn Soup, Popcorn (the character’s own ingredient) |
| Disliked foods | None â Yayacorntchi accepts all foods without rejection |
| Note | This is confirmed game behavior, not thematic inference. Yayacorntchi genuinely has no disliked foods. |
Personality & Raising Tips
Drain rates aren’t yet documented for Yayacorntchi in the English community, so specific maintenance guidance will be added when confirmed.
What is known: Yayacorntchi is the easiest adult in Paradise to feed â no food checking required, ever. On any care day, feed it whatever you have on hand. This eliminates one entire category of maintenance management that every other adult requires.
For intentional Yayacorntchi runs: Purple Sky shell only. Get any Sky Young except Rocky (Chicken, Corn, or Honey food during Kid). During Young stage, connect to two different non-Purple-Sky shell colors. The care level during Young doesn’t affect the secret requirement â you can get Yayacorntchi at any care level as long as the connections happen.
Practical tip: If you’re on Purple Sky and planning a connection anyway, build the connections into your Young stage early. Two connections is a low bar compared to some other social requirements in the game.
Personality in lore: Warm, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic about food in all forms. Yayacorntchi is the character most often described as the “host” of any group â the one who makes sure everyone is eating and seems to experience meals as a form of social celebration rather than just maintenance. No disliked foods isn’t just a mechanic; it’s character in the most literal sense.
Who Should Raise Yayacorntchi?
Yayacorntchi is for players who enjoy social play (connecting with others) and want the most food-management-friendly adult in the game. Since drain rates aren’t documented yet, it’s hard to assess how demanding it is to maintain day-to-day â but no other adult eliminates food checking entirely the way Yayacorntchi does. Players who find food rejection management annoying on other characters will immediately appreciate the quality-of-life difference.
How Yayacorntchi Compares
Yayacorntchi’s drain rates are not yet confirmed, so direct stat comparison with other Sky Field adults isn’t possible. What is unique: it is the only adult in all of Tamagotchi Paradise with no disliked foods, setting it apart from every other character in the game regardless of field or shell. As a secret character, it also stands apart from the regular 16 Sky Field adults in how it’s obtained â the two-connection requirement during Young replaces the care-level system entirely. Compared to the other three shell secrets (Chodracotchi, Mermarintchi, Tatsutchi), Yayacorntchi has the most flexible Young-type requirement, making it arguably the most accessible secret in the game.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does care level matter for getting Yayacorntchi?
No â the care level during the Young stage determines which regular adult you would have gotten (Flap, Chirp, or Bumble result). But if the two-connection requirement is met, Yayacorntchi overrides the normal care level result entirely.
What if I only connect to one different shell color?
You’ll evolve into your normal care-level result (based on mistakes and meter maxing). One connection is not enough â you need two different shell colors, both during the Young stage.
Can I get Yayacorntchi on a Blue Water or Pink Land shell?
No. Yayacorntchi is exclusive to the Purple Sky shell, even if those shells unlock the Sky Field at Level 4.
Does Yayacorntchi ever turn food away?
Not according to current game data â it accepts all foods. This is confirmed as a unique trait that sets it apart from every other adult in the game.
Can Yayacorntchi breed?
Yes. All adults in Tamagotchi Paradise can breed with any compatible adult of the opposite gender. After breeding, the egg hatches into Babymarutchi and the evolution cycle starts fresh â the baby’s adult form depends on your field, food, and care choices, not on which parents bred.
About This Character’s Field
The Sky Field is the starting field on the Purple Sky shell and unlocks at Level 4 on Blue Water and Pink Land. Not available on Jade Forest. Sky Field characters have Chicken, Corm, and Honey evolution paths, plus the Rocky Species for default pellet players.
