Baby’s Dream — Tamagotchi Uni’s New Tamaverse Land (September 2026)

Bandai is adding a thirteenth downloadable land to the Tamagotchi Uni, and it is the first one built around a single idea rather than a theme park: every character is a baby-faced version of a franchise regular. Baby’s Dream goes live on 3 September 2026.

Update, 4 September 2026: Baby’s Dream is now live. The land, its characters and the Naptime mini-game are all confirmed below. The one thing still not published anywhere is the item–to–character trigger table — we are checking daily and will add it here the moment it is verified, rather than guessing.

Here is everything confirmed so far, and what is still unknown.

Update Your Uni First

Baby’s Dream requires firmware 2.9.0 or higher. If your Uni is on an older version the ticket will not load, so do this before you buy.

Full instructions, and what to do when the update fails, are in the Tamagotchi Uni Update Guide.

The Six Characters

Bandai describes the cast as “a tiny tottering Mametchi, an angelic little Mimitchi, and a grown-up teacher Chamametchi” — so this land leans on recognisable characters reimagined at baby stage rather than an entirely new roster.

Cakeypatchi and Babumimitchi are confirmed as alternate forms exclusive to Baby’s Dream — you cannot raise them from any other land or on the base device.

How you will get them

Land characters do not come from care quality. On every Tamaverse land so far, you trigger a specific character by using its associated meal, snack or item before your Tamagotchi becomes an adult — and if you have qualified for more than one, the item you used most wins.

Baby’s Dream ships with 4 meals, 4 snacks and 2 items — ten triggerable objects for six characters, which matches the pattern on Very Berry Land and Monster Carnival.

The specific mappings have not been published yet. We will add the full table here as soon as the land is live and the requirements are confirmed. We will not guess at them — a wrong trigger costs you a whole generation.

Naptime — Baby’s Dream’s Mini-Game

Each land brings one exclusive mini-game, and Baby’s Dream’s is Naptime. Five babies are down for a nap in a large wooden crib, and your job is to keep them that way — tilt the device to settle them, and use the B button to shake a rattle at any that wake up.

In the square you will also find Ms. Frill, the land’s NPC, playing with the little ones in animated scenes exclusive to this land.

Before You Buy — DL Zone Rules Worth Knowing

  • One land at a time. Loading Baby’s Dream replaces whatever land you currently have.
  • Switching lands deletes that land’s items. Anything you have placed or equipped from the outgoing land is removed.
  • You cannot switch while raising a land-exclusive character. If you are mid-generation with a Cakeypatchi, you are staying in Baby’s Dream until that character moves on.
  • The code is tied to your device. You can re-link a download to your Uni up to three times.
  • Lost codes are not reissued. Keep the email.
  • Wi-Fi is required to download.

Is It Worth It?

Six characters, two of them exclusive alternate forms, plus a mini-game and the largest accessory drop of any land so far at eleven pieces.

If you are collecting the full Uni roster it is a straightforward yes — Cakeypatchi and Babumimitchi do not exist anywhere else. If you are not chasing completion, the accessories and furniture are the draw here more than the gameplay, since the raising mechanic is identical to every other land.

One thing genuinely in its favour: with only six characters and ten triggerable objects, Baby’s Dream is a short land to complete compared to the ten-character Sanrio set.

What Baby’s Dream Looks Like

A pastel, dreamlike area themed around babies and infancy. The entrance is a gate built from pastel building blocks flanked by two oversized baby bottles, and the square has a pink stage with pastel blue curtains, with flowers, stars and moons scattered across the walls and floor.

Who Else You Will Meet

Beyond the six raisable characters, the land is populated with baby- and child-stage Tamagotchi you will see but cannot raise: Ms. Frill (the land’s host), Memeputchi, Memepetchi, Mimipetchi, Kuchibotchi, Kuchiotchi, Mameotchi, Puchiotchi, Puchikotchi, Marutchi, Yooyutchi and Niinitchi.

Four parent characters appear as cameos: Papamametchi, Mamametchi, Papapatchi and Mamapatchi — a nice touch for a land built around infancy.
