Who Is Kiwitchi?

A kiwi bird — round-bodied, flightless, with tiny vestigial wings, a long beak built for probing the ground, and the unhurried energy of a creature that stopped trying to be aerodynamic somewhere back in evolutionary history and has had no regrets since. Kiwitchi looks like a bird that has fully committed to a ground-based lifestyle while technically still being categorized as a Sky Field character, which is a comedic tension the game doesn’t acknowledge and doesn’t need to.

The heavy-neglect result for the Sky Field’s Chirp Species. Kiwitchi didn’t get consistent care, adapted accordingly, and ended up with the self-contained, low-maintenance personality of something that figured out how to be fine entirely on its own terms.

How to Get Kiwitchi

Step 1 — Get into the Sky Field
Start on the Purple Sky shell, which begins in the Sky Field. On the Blue Water and Pink Land shells, the Sky Field unlocks at Level 4. The Sky Field is not available on the Jade Forest shell.

Step 2 — Feed the right food during the Kid stage
Target food type: Corn
Specific foods: Corn, Cherry, Piece of Corn — from the shop. Corn Flakes — cooked.

⚠️ Device bug on original 3-color shells: The device screen swaps “Flap Young” and “Chirp Young” labels. Corn food → Chirp Young (may show as “Flap Young” on screen). The paths work correctly regardless.

Feed until you have at least one Corn icon in your Tama Cell, then switch to Pellets.

Step 3 — Hit the right care level
Requirement: 6 or more total care mistakes across the Kid and Young stages combined.

Let hunger or happiness hit zero, wait 15 minutes after the attention call, refill, and repeat until you have 6+ spiral icons in Cell View. Once you hit 6, Kiwitchi is locked in.

For intentional Kiwitchi runs: Corn food during Kid until the icon appears, then 6+ deliberate mistakes during Young. Fast and easy to execute. The 60-minute hunger drain during Young means you’ll occasionally get mistakes without trying — so if you’re already being casual about care, Kiwitchi is often where you end up organically on the Chirp path.

Personality in lore: Quiet, methodical, and completely comfortable being underestimated. Kiwitchi doesn’t need to prove itself to anyone. It’s been doing fine on the ground for a very long time and has no intention of changing its approach based on the expectations of birds that bothered to keep their wings.

Kiwitchi is an excellent pick for casual or busy players who want to explore the Chirp Species’ heavy-neglect result. At 60/70 minutes, both its hunger and happiness drain at comfortable, similar rates — great for players who check in roughly every hour. It’s notably more forgiving to maintain day-to-day than Kuchipatchi (the moderate-neglect result at 30/90), making Kiwitchi one of the more pleasant accidental outcomes if you’ve been letting care slip on the Corn path.

Kiwitchi’s 60-minute hunger and 70-minute happiness are both above the Sky Field average, making it one of the more relaxed adults in the field once obtained. Can Kiwitchi breed?
Yes. All adults in Tamagotchi Paradise can breed with any compatible adult of the opposite gender. After breeding, the egg hatches into Babymarutchi and the evolution cycle starts fresh — the baby’s adult form depends on your field, food, and care choices, not on which parents bred.
