A dense, low-slung creature built close to the ground, with a wide body, short thick limbs, and an expression of complete contentment. Nothing about Heavytchi is in a hurry. It moves slowly, sits often, and seems genuinely satisfied with that arrangement.

The heavy-neglect result for the Land Field’s Lick Species — the character that emerges when you’ve been genuinely inattentive during the bug-food path. Heavytchi carries no resentment about it. It adapted, it survived, and it’s doing fine. More than fine, actually.

The 30-minute happiness drain is the fastest in the Lick Species line. Heavytchi needs regular mini-games despite being a heavy-neglect adult — plan accordingly.

How to Get Heavytchi

Step 1 — Get into the Land Field
Start on the Pink Land shell, which begins in the Land Field. On the Blue Water shell the Land Field unlocks at Level 6; on the Purple Sky shell at Level 4.

Step 2 — Feed the right food during the Kid stage
Target food type: Bug
Specific foods: Meal Bugs, Meal Worms — from the shop. Bug Cookies — cooked.

Feed until you have at least one Bug icon showing in your Tama Cell. You only need one dominant icon — once it appears, you can switch to cheap Pellets and save resources. The icon stays unless you switch fields (which clears all food icons).

Step 3 — Hit the right care level
Requirement: 6 or more total care mistakes across the Kid and Young stages combined.

How to accumulate 6+ mistakes:
A care mistake occurs when hunger or happiness hits zero and you wait 15 full minutes after the attention call before responding. Rack up 6 of these and Heavytchi is guaranteed regardless of anything else.

The fastest method: deliberately let both meters drain repeatedly, waiting 15 minutes each time before responding. You can hit 6 mistakes during the Kid stage alone if you’re consistent.

Once you hit 6 spiral icons in Cell View, you’re locked in. No additional mistakes will change the outcome.

Full Lick Species Evolution Line

All four Lick adults come from Bug Young, raised in the Land Field on a diet of Bug foods during the Kid stage. The only variable between these four characters is your total care mistake count.

Fun Facts

Heavytchi’s name is descriptive rather than animal-based — one of the few Land Field adults named for a physical trait (weight) rather than the creature type it resembles. The 90-minute hunger drain is the best in the Lick Species, which gives it the ironic distinction of being both the result of maximum neglect and the easiest adult in its species line to keep fed. The 30-minute happiness drain is the catch.

Heavytchi is the Lick Species heavy-neglect result, and like Gumax in the Roar Species, it turns out to be a more pleasant companion than you might expect from its origin. The 90-minute hunger timer is genuinely forgiving — you can feed it twice a day at a leisurely pace and it stays full. The 30-minute happiness timer is the maintenance challenge.

Build a routine of mini-games every 30 minutes or keep snacks on hand to top up happiness between scheduled check-ins. The UFO mini-game gives the fastest return per play session.

For intentional Heavytchi runs: Six mistakes as fast as possible, then raise normally. Monitor for sickness at the risky mistake counts (1, 5, 7) — the 35% sick chance means roughly 1-in-3 chance of illness after those thresholds. Treat immediately to avoid compounding mistakes that overshoot your target bracket (not relevant here since 6+ is the floor, not a ceiling).

Personality in lore: Content, deliberate, and surprisingly philosophical. Heavytchi moves at its own pace and doesn’t feel the need to justify that pace to anyone. Heavytchi suits players who enjoy neglect runs or who got it accidentally on the Lick Species path. The 90-minute hunger drain makes it the most forgiving Lick Species adult to feed — ideal for players who can’t always check in frequently. The trade-off is the 30-minute happiness drain, which demands regular mini-games no matter how relaxed your overall schedule is. If you can build a quick game check-in every half hour, Heavytchi is one of the most relaxed adults in the Land Field on the hunger side.

How Heavytchi Compares

Heavytchi’s 90-minute hunger drain is the best in the Lick Species line, beating Sebiretchi (60m) and Elizardotchi (50m) by a wide margin. Its 30-minute happiness drain is the most demanding in the species — significantly faster than Sebiretchi (70m) and Elizardotchi (60m). This 90/30 split is identical to Gumax in the Roar Species, making them the only two Land Field adults with this profile. Yes. All adults in Tamagotchi Paradise can breed with any compatible adult of the opposite gender. After breeding, the egg hatches into Babymarutchi and the evolution cycle starts fresh — the baby’s adult form depends on your field, food, and care choices, not on which parents bred.
