Unlike the base Uni roster, land characters have nothing to do with care mistakes or happiness. You get them by using a specific food or item before your Tamagotchi becomes an adult.

Nicely balanced — three male, three female, and the male characters are the item-triggered ones.
How the Trigger System Works
- Use the item before adulthood. Once your Tamagotchi is an adult it is locked — nothing you feed it will change the result.
- Most-used wins. If you have qualified for more than one land character, the one tied to the item you used most takes priority.
- Care quality is irrelevant here. Care mistakes decide your base roster adult. They have no effect on which land character you get.
In practice: pick your target before your Tamagotchi leaves the child stage, then commit. Feeding a bit of everything is the most common reason people end up with a base-roster adult instead of the land character they wanted.

Three neutral meals makes this an easy land to manage — feed Excali Burger, Goose Dip or Rapunzel Pasta between doses of your target.

What Is in Fairy Tale Library
- Library Square — your Tamagotchi enters a fairy tale book. Three scenes: Kikigoku losing his staff in the clouds and grabbing Mamecchio’s nose instead; a prince bringing sleeping Milkyukihime a glass slipper while an annoyed Pyonderella demands it back; and the Piggypatchis fleeing to Neliakaguya’s house before the wolf blows it to the moon.
- Turtletchi & Rabbitchi — the mini-game, a retelling of The Hare & The Tortoise. Alternate A and B to run, and tilt the Uni upward to jump.
- Fairy Tale Shop — including Flower Room and Ball Room (500G each).
Tama Pet
Leave any Fairy Tale Library furniture outside (Forest Bed, Wall Clock, Happy Prince, Antique Bookshelf) to attract Fairy Tale Doyakentchi, a variant of Doyakentchi exclusive to the Uni. It leaves if you change your DL area.
How to Get It
900¥ (about $6). Released 23 November 2024. The same flying library ship appears on four devices — Tamagotchi Plus Color, iD L 15th Anniversary, On Fantasy, and now the Uni.
The Picture Book Easter Egg
Picture Book does not trigger an adult — it summons Peketchi as an NPC animation. It is the only item in any land that does something like this, and it is completely safe to use, so you can trigger the animation as often as you like without affecting your evolution.
Other NPCs you will meet: Otogitchi, Mukimukimukitchi, Peketchi and Prince Tamahiko.
