Tamazon Jungle Tour Growth Chart — All 6 Characters & Triggers

A jungle expedition that doubles as a franchise retrospective — the boat ride passes Makkakka Town, Uratama Town and a GOTCHIMAN filming set, and the shop is stuffed with callbacks. Six characters, evenly split.

Tamazon Jungle Tour Growth Chart

Unlike the base Uni roster, land characters have nothing to do with care mistakes or happiness. You get them by using a specific food or item before your Tamagotchi becomes an adult.

CharacterGenderWhat triggers itType
GinjirotchiMaleFreshly Cooked RiceMeal, 100G
HashizotchiMaleKabuki DonutsSnack, 100G
SmartchiMalePianoItem, 200G
GorippatchiFemaleBanana HoardSnack, 100G
MakikoFemaleCurling IronItem, 200G
HimespetchiFemaleMametchi OmeletteMeal, 100G

Three male, three female — and both items are triggers, so there is no safe toy in this land.

How the Trigger System Works

  • Use the item before adulthood. Once your Tamagotchi is an adult it is locked — nothing you feed it will change the result.
  • Most-used wins. If you have qualified for more than one land character, the one tied to the item you used most takes priority.
  • Care quality is irrelevant here. Care mistakes decide your base roster adult. They have no effect on which land character you get.

In practice: pick your target before your Tamagotchi leaves the child stage, then commit. Feeding a bit of everything is the most common reason people end up with a base-roster adult instead of the land character they wanted.

Safe Stock — What Will Not Steer Your Evolution

Exactly half the food is neutral, which is manageable — but treat the Piano and Curling Iron as committed choices.

What Is in Tamazon Jungle Tour

  • Discovery Cruise — a boat ride through Makkakka Town, Uratama Town and a GOTCHIMAN filming set at TAMAX-TV, boarded from a question-mark boat shack.
  • Retro Arcade — houses Castle Climb, the mini-game. Control the DekaTama protagonist jumping off platforms, clouds and springs held up by Royal Servants to reach the top of Gotchi King’s Castle before time runs out. Hold A to move left, B to move right.
  • Jungle Tama Mall — a replica of the TamaDepa shop, with eleven accessories.

Tama Pet

Leave any Tamazon Jungle Tour furniture outside (Studious Dresser, Test Beaker Set, Retro Poop, Retro Bed) to attract Bagubagutchi.

How to Get It

900¥ (about $6). Released 12 March 2026 — the most recent land before Baby’s Dream.

Franchise Callbacks Worth Spotting

  • The question-mark flowers on the bushes are said to attract Hatenatchi to the area.
  • Tamagotchi Town is visible in the distance through the trees.
  • The furniture piece Retro Poop is a direct callback to the original 1996 device’s poop sprite.
  • Cameos throughout: Shirimotchi, Darumatchi, Ribotchi, Washikitchi, Gosutchi, Gotchiman, Hero Lovelin, Black Hat, ADtchi, Cameratchi, Gotchi King and Depagatchi.
