Who Is Teketchi?
Teketchi is one of the Connection era’s most V3-specific adults — it doesn’t appear on V1, V2, or most later releases, and has minimal presence beyond the device itself. The name comes from “teke teke,” a Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of something small trotting or toddling — fitting for a character with four short pink legs. Teketchi is blue with light blue cheeks, two antennas (one orange, one yellow), and an unusual silhouette for the era.
On V3, Teketchi is one of three even-gen Frail adults alongside Androtchi and Wooltchi. The Frail tier comes from physical neglect — more hunger misses than happiness/discipline misses during the teen stage. Its sleep schedule (9 AM–9 PM) is one of the shorter wake windows among V3 adults. Teketchi is primarily a collector’s target, given its V3-exclusive status and limited franchise presence.

How to Get Teketchi on V3
Step 1 — Even generation only
Teketchi requires an even generation. Breed your Gen 1 adult to access Gen 2. Odd-gen Frail adults are Hanatchi, Tsunotchi, and Hashizoutchi.
Step 2 — Physical neglect during teen stage
The Frail tier needs more physical mistakes (hunger) than mental ones. Let hunger calls go unanswered for 15+ minutes more often than happiness/discipline. Aim for 5+ physical vs. 2–3 mental mistakes during the teen stage.
Step 3 — Random draw among Frail even-gen adults
With Frail care on an even generation, you’ll get one of: Teketchi, Androtchi, or Wooltchi. Random 1-in-3 draw.
Frail Adult Evolution Line (V3 — Even Generation)
| Character | Care requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Teketchi ← you are here | Frail adult (physical neglect > mental neglect) | V3-exclusive; blue; four legs; teke-teke name |
| Androtchi | Frail adult (same requirements) | Robot exterior, human feelings; V1–V3 veteran |
| Wooltchi | Frail adult (same requirements) | Kurokotchi in disguise; sheep wool aesthetic |
Food Preferences
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Favorite food | Cupcake — feeding grants 4 happy hearts |
| Disliked food | Hamburgers — offering the disliked food lowers happiness |
Who Should Raise Teketchi?
Teketchi is a completionist target. Its V3 exclusivity and low franchise footprint make it one of the more “hidden” characters in the even-gen Frail tier. Players building a comprehensive V3 dex will need at least one even-gen Frail run, and Teketchi will come up eventually across those runs.
Frequently Asked Questions
