Who Is Gozarutchi?
Gozarutchi is one of the most iconic Tamagotchi characters ever created. He resembles a ninja wearing a navy blue suit with two white stripes, and is usually shown carrying a shuriken. His mouth is almost always hidden by his ninja mask. Kind to others but hard on himself, Gozarutchi dreams of becoming a true ninja and possesses many real ninja abilities — though according to his sister Kunoitchi, he actually has low blood pressure and is not a morning person.
On the V4, Gozarutchi is the severe-neglect Universal Group male — the result of letting your Tamagotchi go uncared for too many times. Despite his rough origins on this version, he remains one of the franchise’s most beloved characters.

Step 3 — Wait for evolution. Any male teen under these conditions becomes Gozarutchi. Evolution happens 24–48 hours into the teen stage.

Gozarutchi has appeared on virtually every Tamagotchi Connection release. His name comes from de gozaru, an archaic samurai phrase. He is the only Tamagotchi who appears in every V3/V4 TamaTown short. He has a fond crush on Masktchi, while Violetchi has a crush on him. He is the male counterpart of Masktchi.
