What Is It?
The Tamagotchi P’s launched in Japan in November 2012. Its signature trick is a port above the screen for a Tama Deco Pierce — a physical cartridge that downloads new characters, items, locations, and games straight onto the device. It became a favourite of the modding community thanks to fan-made English Pierces.
Key Features
- Tama Deco Pierce slot — swap cartridges to load whole new content packs.
- Deep customization of characters, items, and locations.
- Active fan scene with custom and English-translated Pierces.
Is It Worth Getting Today?
Great for tinkerers and collectors. The P’s offers the most customization of the color era, and the homebrew Pierce community keeps it interesting. You will need to import both the device and Pierces, and it is a little more involved to set up than the iD L.
