Corn in Tamagotchi Paradise — Where to Get It & What It Does

Corn is a Sky Field food type that produces Chirp Young. It has one quirk worth knowing before you start feeding: cherry counts as corn.

Where to Get Corn

Corn items come from the shop and from Egg Hunts. Four items count as the corn type, and one of them is a fruit.

What It Does to Your Evolution

Feed corn as the dominant food during the Kid stage and you get Chirp Young. Care mistakes then decide the adult.

When It Matters

Food only steers evolution during the Kid stage. What you feed as a Baby, a Young or an Adult has no effect on which character you get — it only fills the hunger meter. The Kid stage runs 24–28 hours, and that is your whole window.

You need one icon of the target type in your Tama Cell, and more of it than any other type at the moment of evolution. Feed a few, watch for the icon, then switch to cheap default pellets to save Gotchi Points.

Cherry being a corn item catches people out constantly. If you are feeding fruit in the Sky Field expecting a neutral filler, you are voting for Chirp. Use default pellets instead. Also note the on-device naming bug: on the 2025 shells the screen shows Chirp and Flap the wrong way round.
