Download codes are how you unlock exclusive items, characters, and gifts on the Tamagotchi Uni. Here’s how they work and how to redeem them.
What Download Codes Unlock
Codes can grant food, accessories, items, activity spots, mini-games, and even new raisable characters. They come from two main places:
- Tama Portal tickets — when you buy a ticket in the Tamaverse, a download code is emailed to your registered account.
- Official promotions and events — Bandai shares codes through the official Tamagotchi site, newsletters, and seasonal campaigns.
How to Redeem a Code
- Make sure your Uni is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Open the download / code-entry option in the menu.
- Enter the code exactly as shown, including any letters and numbers.
- Confirm — the item or character is added to your Uni.
Tips
Codes are usually tied to your account email, so register with an inbox you actually check. Watch the official site and seasonal Tamaverse events for limited-time codes, which often expire. We’ll keep a running list of currently active public codes here as they’re released.
