New Paradise Characters (2026 Update)

The two 2026 Tamagotchi Paradise versions — Orange Tropics and White Glacier — add 30+ brand-new characters to the franchise, the biggest single roster expansion since Paradise launched in 2025. This page tracks everything we know about the new lineup and how to raise them.

How Many New Characters?

Bandai’s official Japanese site references over 30 new characters introduced across the Tropical and Ice fields, plus new items. They join the original Paradise roster, so the full character database grows substantially on July 10, 2026.

Where the New Characters Live

Each new character is native to a specific field, and many adults can only be raised in that biome. That makes your choice of version — and which field you raise a character in — matter more than ever.

Field New in 2026? Available on
Tropical Field 🌴 Yes — all-new biome Orange Tropics (start), White Glacier (unlock)
Ice Field ❄️ Yes — all-new biome White Glacier (start), Orange Tropics (unlock)
Forest Field 🌲 Returning from Jade Forest Both 2026 versions

Because Tropical and Ice are brand-new fields, their adult characters cannot be raised on any of the original 2025 shells (Blue Water, Pink Land, Purple Sky, or Jade Forest). The 2026 devices are the only way to get them.

How to Get the New Characters

The raising system is unchanged from the original Paradise, so the rules you already know still apply:

  • Pick the right field. Spend time raising your Baby and Kid in the field whose adult you want — field icons accumulate every 15 minutes spent in a biome.
  • Manage care mistakes. Your total care mistakes still decide which care tier of adult you get.
  • Watch the diet. The food type you feed most determines which Young, and ultimately which adult, you evolve into.
  • Breed for rares. Breeding two compatible Tamagotchi mixes their genes, the route to some of the rarest new characters.

For the full mechanics, see the Evolution Chart and our Care Mistake Guide.

Secret Characters

The original Paradise versions each hid a secret character unlocked by connecting two specific shell colors during the Young stage (see our Secret Character Guide). Expect the 2026 versions to follow the same pattern with their own hidden characters — we’ll confirm the exact connection requirements as soon as the devices are in players’ hands.

This page will be updated with the full list of named 2026 characters, their fields, diets, and care requirements the moment Orange Tropics and White Glacier launch on July 10, 2026. Bookmark it and check back on launch day. For the complete existing roster, visit the Character Database.
