White Glacier is one of two brand-new Tamagotchi Paradise versions launching worldwide on July 10, 2026, alongside its sister version, Orange Tropics. It drops you into the all-new Ice Field — a frozen biome packed with cold-weather characters you can’t raise on any of the original 2025 shells. If you love snow creatures, polar oddities, and being first to a fresh roster, this is your shell.

What’s New in White Glacier
White Glacier and Orange Tropics are updated Paradise devices — the same crank-zoom planet gimmick from the original 2025 release, but with two big additions:
- The Ice Field — an all-new frozen biome with its own native characters, exclusive to the two 2026 versions.
- Two new mini-games — playable solo, or with a friend through the new Connection Mini-Game feature when you dock two devices.
The field areas are also larger than on the original three shells, giving each biome more room and more characters to discover.
Field Unlock Order
White Glacier starts you in the Ice Field. As you raise your planet level, two more fields open up:
| Order | Field |
|---|---|
| Start | Ice Field ❄️ |
| Unlock 1 | Forest Field 🌲 |
| Unlock 2 | Tropical Field 🌴 |
The Forest Field debuted on the Jade Forest shell in 2025, so White Glacier owners get those Forest characters too — plus the brand-new Ice and Tropical rosters. (Exact planet levels for each unlock will be confirmed on launch day; we’ll update this guide the moment they’re verified.)
White Glacier vs. Orange Tropics: Which Should You Buy?
The two 2026 versions share the same three fields but in a different order:
| White Glacier | Orange Tropics | |
|---|---|---|
| Starts in | Ice Field ❄️ | Tropical Field 🌴 |
| Then unlocks | Forest → Tropical | Forest → Ice |
| Best for | Snow & polar characters first | Beach & jungle characters first |
Because some adults are exclusive to the field you raise them in, your starting field decides which characters you meet earliest. Pick White Glacier if the Ice characters are the ones you most want to raise first. Want the beach roster instead? Grab Orange Tropics.
Should You Upgrade From a 2025 Shell?
If you already own a Blue Water, Pink Land, Purple Sky, or Jade Forest device, White Glacier is the first version with genuinely new fields and characters rather than a recolor. The 30+ new characters and two new mini-games are the real draw. The core care system — care mistakes, feeding, and evolution — works exactly the same, so everything you’ve already learned carries straight over.
This guide will be expanded with the full Ice Field character roster, diets, and exact unlock levels as soon as White Glacier launches on July 10, 2026. For the complete character list, see the Character Database; for raising mechanics, see the Evolution Chart.
