White Glacier is one of the two 2026 Tamagotchi Paradise versions, released worldwide on July 10, 2026 alongside its sister version, Orange Tropics. It drops you into the all-new Ice Field — a frozen biome full of cold-weather characters you can’t raise on any of the original 2025 shells. This guide has the full Ice Field roster, the complete White Glacier growth chart, field unlock order, and how it compares to Orange Tropics.

What Makes White Glacier Different
White Glacier and Orange Tropics run the same core game as the 2025 Paradise — the same crank-zoom planet, the same care-mistake and evolution systems — with three real additions:
- The Ice Field — an all-new frozen biome with its own native characters, exclusive (with Tropical) to the 2026 versions.
- Two new mini-games, playable solo or with a friend through the new Connection Mini-Game feature when you dock two devices.
- The Golden Peach snack — earned from a perfect 9-egg Egg Hunt, it reduces your care-mistake count by one when eaten. This is the first time a care mistake can be undone, and it makes perfect-care runs far more forgiving.
Note that White Glacier does not include the Land, Water, or Sky fields at all — so the original 2025 field characters (like the classic Land-field Mametchi) can’t be raised here. What you get instead is the Ice roster, the returning Forest roster, and the Tropical roster once it unlocks.
Field Unlock Order
| Order | Field |
|---|---|
| Start | Ice Field ❄️ |
| Unlock 1 | Forest Field 🌲 (returning from Jade Forest) |
| Unlock 2 | Tropical Field 🌴 |
The Forest Field debuted on the 2025 Jade Forest shell, so White Glacier owners get those Forest characters too — plus the brand-new Ice roster from the start and the Tropical roster once your planet level is high enough.
White Glacier Growth Chart (Ice Field)
Your adult depends on three choices, same as always: the Ice Field sets the Kid (Frozen Kid), the food you feed most sets the Young species, and your total care mistakes set which of four adults you get. Perfect care means 0 mistakes and both the Hunger and Happy meters maxed 5+ times each. Ice characters have a 30% sick rate (vs 35% on the original shells).
| Young species (diet) | 🌟 Perfect care (0) | Near-perfect (0–1) | Moderate (2–5) | Heavy neglect (6+) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roar — Frozen Meat (Frozen Meat, Canned Meat, Beef Stroganoff) | Okojotchi | Wolftchi | Polakumatchi | Azaratchi |
| Glide — Northern Seafood (Northern Seafood, Salmon Roe, Blinis) | Icy Irukatchi | Ginjirotchi | Rakkotchi | Hoppentchi |
| Toddle — Red Berries (Beets, Red Berries, Borscht, Hot Tea with Jam) | Lemmingtchi | Moosetchi | Raichotchi | Yukiusatchi |
| Float — mixed / default pellets | Nerinetchi | Dangouotchi | Yaytytchi | Yukiraratchi |
Secret character — Hobohorntchi: connect your White Glacier to two different version colors while your Tamagotchi is in the Young stage. A Frozen Float Young does not qualify — you must be on the Roar, Glide, or Toddle line.
White Glacier vs. Orange Tropics: Which Should You Buy?
The two 2026 versions are identical except for which field you start in and their exclusive secret character:
| White Glacier | Orange Tropics | |
|---|---|---|
| Starts in | Ice Field ❄️ | Tropical Field 🌴 |
| Then unlocks | Forest → Tropical | Forest → Ice |
| Exclusive secret | Hobohorntchi | Manapatchi |
| Best for | Snow & polar characters first | Beach & jungle characters first |
Because some adults are exclusive to the field you raise them in, your starting field decides which characters you meet earliest. Pick White Glacier if the Ice characters are the ones you most want first. For the full head-to-head, see White Glacier vs Orange Tropics.
Should You Upgrade From a 2025 Shell?
Yes — more than any previous re-release. If you own Blue Water, Pink Land, Purple Sky, or Jade Forest, White Glacier is the first version with genuinely new fields and characters rather than a recolor. The core care system is unchanged, so everything you’ve learned carries straight over.

The 50% Perfect Egg Hunt — a 2026-Shell Exclusive
A “successful” Egg Hunt means collecting all nine eggs, and it is mostly luck — but not equally so on every shell.
| Shell | Chance of a perfect nine-egg hunt |
|---|---|
| Blue Water, Pink Land, Purple Sky, Jade Forest | ~10% |
| White Glacier & Orange Tropics | ~50% |
Both figures assume your current Tamagotchi is in the hunting party and its happiness meter is full. The 2026 shells make perfect hunts roughly five times more likely, which matters far more than it sounds: a perfect hunt is the only source of the Golden Peach, the snack that erases a care mistake.
If you plan to chase perfect-care adults, that single difference is the strongest argument for buying a 2026 shell.
