How to Get Roar Young in Tamagotchi Paradise — All Fields & Adults

Roar Young is the meat-eater, and it appears in more fields than any other Young species — Land, Forest, Tropical and Ice. The food differs in each, and so do all four adults it becomes.

How to Get Roar Young

Feed the meat food type during the Kid stage. You need at least one meat icon in your Tama Cell and more of it than any other type at the moment of evolution. Feed a few, watch for the icon, then switch to default pellets to save Gotchi Points.

FieldFood typeFoods that give it
Land FieldMeatBig Meat, Small Meat, Steak
Forest Field (as Forest Roar)Peking MeatChashu Pork, Peking Meat, Warm Buns
Tropical FieldTropical MeatTropical Steak, Tropical Patty, Hawaiian Burger
Ice FieldFrozen MeatFrozen Meat, Canned Meat, Beef Stroganoff

Every field has a meat line, so Roar is available on every shell — but what you feed and what you get are completely different in each.

What Roar Young Becomes

Your care mistake count — cumulative across the Kid and Young stages — decides which of four adults you get. Perfect care means zero mistakes plus Hunger and Happy each maxed five times during the Young stage.

Secret Character Eligibility

Yes on most shells. Roar Young qualifies for Chodracotchi’s sibling secrets on the shells where the secret is not line-locked — it works for Manapatchi (Orange Tropics) and Hobohorntchi (White Glacier). It does not work for Chodracotchi on Pink Land, which is Lick Young only, and Forest Roar does not qualify for Tatsutchi, which is Forest Chirp only.

Timing

The Kid stage runs 24–28 hours before evolving into Young, and the Young stage about 24 hours more before the adult transition. You can see your care mistake count at any point in the Tama Cell view — the squiggly-line icon.
