Glide Young is the seafood-eater. It appears in the Water Field on the 2025 shells and returns in the Ice Field on White Glacier — where the perfect-care adult is an Ice recolour of the Water one.
How to Get Glide Young
Feed the seafood food type during the Kid stage. You need at least one seafood icon in your Tama Cell and more of it than any other type at the moment of evolution. Feed a few, watch for the icon, then switch to default pellets to save Gotchi Points.

What Glide Young Becomes
Your care mistake count — cumulative across the Kid and Young stages — decides which of four adults you get. Perfect care means zero mistakes plus Hunger and Happy each maxed five times during the Young stage.

Secret Character Eligibility
Yes. Glide qualifies for Mermarintchi on Blue Water, and for Hobohorntchi on White Glacier. Both need connections to two different shell colours during the Young stage.
Timing
The Kid stage runs 24–28 hours before evolving into Young, and the Young stage about 24 hours more before the adult transition. You can see your care mistake count at any point in the Tama Cell view — the squiggly-line icon.
