Meals steer your evolution. Snacks do something else entirely — several of them change game mechanics outright, and a couple are the most powerful items in Paradise. This is what each one actually does.
The Snacks That Matter

| Love Love Ice Cream | Raises breeding success to 100% — except against a predator/prey pairing, which always fails regardless. |
| Cheerful Popcorn | Guarantees a Vitamin cell, which prevents one sickness and then disappears. |
| Random Jelly / Random Boba | A chance at a Vitamin cell. Random Boba replaces Random Jelly on Jade Forest. |
| Be X Juice | Changes your Tamagotchi’s colour. The change is permanent for that Tamagotchi’s life, and carries to the next generation if you breed it. |
The Golden Peach Is Worth Chasing
Before the 2026 shells, a care mistake was permanent. On Blue Water, Pink Land, Purple Sky and Jade Forest it still is — once made, it stays for that Tamagotchi’s whole life.
The Golden Peach changed that, and the odds of earning one changed with it:

Both assume your current Tamagotchi is in the hunting party with full happiness. The 2026 shells make Golden Peaches roughly five times easier to earn, which is what turns a perfect-care run from single-slip-and-restart into something recoverable.
Do Snacks Affect Evolution?
No. Snacks fill the happiness meter and carry their special effects, but they do not add food cells, so they never push your Young species one way or the other. That makes them safe to feed during the Kid stage while you are steering with meals.
One caveat: maxing the happy meter during the Young stage does matter — you need it maxed five times for perfect care. Snacks are a legitimate way to get there.
