Connection Mini-Games Guide

The 2026 Tamagotchi Paradise versions — Orange Tropics and White Glacier — introduce a feature the original 2025 shells never had: Connection Mini-Games. Dock two devices together and you can play head-to-head. Here’s how it works.

What Are Connection Mini-Games?

The 2026 devices ship with two new mini-games. Each one can be played two ways:

  • Solo — play on your own device any time, just like the existing Paradise mini-games.
  • Connected — dock with a second Paradise device and play the same mini-game together, head-to-head.

This is the first time Paradise mini-games can be played against another person, turning the device’s connection feature into a social, competitive experience rather than just an item-and-character exchange.

How to Connect Two Devices

Paradise connects the old-fashioned way — no Wi-Fi or app required. You physically dock two devices together, exactly like the connection method used since the very first connecting Tamagotchi in 1997. To start a Connection Mini-Game:

  1. Bring two Paradise devices together and line up their connection ports.
  2. Select the Connect option on both devices.
  3. Choose the Connection Mini-Game from the menu.
  4. Both players play the round; results are shown on each device.

(We’ll add exact menu paths and button prompts once the 2026 devices are in hand.)

Which Devices Can Connect?

Pairing Connection Mini-Games?
Two 2026 devices (any mix of Orange Tropics / White Glacier) Yes
A 2026 device + an original 2025 shell Standard connection only (the new mini-games are exclusive to the 2026 hardware)

Because the new mini-games live on the 2026 devices, you’ll need two of the new versions to play connected. The simplest setup: one Orange Tropics and one White Glacier, which also lets two players cover all three fields between them.

Why It Matters

Beyond the fun, connecting is still how you swap items and unlock secret characters in Paradise. The 2026 versions add competition on top of that, giving siblings, friends, and collectors a real reason to own two devices.

This guide will be updated with the names of both new mini-games, scoring rules, and step-by-step connection prompts when Orange Tropics and White Glacier launch on July 10, 2026. For solo play on existing devices, see the Paradise Mini-Games Guide.
