Lick Young is the insect-eater, and it matters more than its two fields suggest: it is the only line that can reach Chodracotchi, the most restrictive secret character in Paradise.
How to Get Lick Young
Feed the insect food type during the Kid stage. You need at least one insect icon in your Tama Cell and more of it than any other type at the moment of evolution. Feed a few, watch for the icon, then switch to default pellets to save Gotchi Points.

Lick appears only in the Land and Tropical fields. There is no Lick line in Water, Sky, Forest or Ice.
What Lick Young Becomes
Your care mistake count — cumulative across the Kid and Young stages — decides which of four adults you get. Perfect care means zero mistakes plus Hunger and Happy each maxed five times during the Young stage.

Secret Character Eligibility
Critical. On Pink Land, Chodracotchi requires Lick Young and nothing else — not Roar, Toddle or Sprout. Feed Meal Bugs, Meal Worms or Bug Cookies during the Kid stage, then connect to two different shell colours during the Young stage. Lick also qualifies for Manapatchi on Orange Tropics.
Timing
The Kid stage runs 24–28 hours before evolving into Young, and the Young stage about 24 hours more before the adult transition. You can see your care mistake count at any point in the Tama Cell view — the squiggly-line icon.
