Who Is Pyonkotchi?
Pyonkotchi is a small yellow cat-like character with pink ears and a stubby tail. She is cute and funny, and great at playing games — but whenever she sees a couple in love, she gets jealous and has to interfere. She only acts mean because she’s lonely, and she’ll surely become kinder once she falls in love herself. Her name comes from pyonpyon (hopping) with the feminine suffix ko.
On the V4, Pyonkotchi is the healthiest Universal Group female, obtained with low skill points but good care.
Stats
Pyonkotchi sleeps from 10 PM to 9 AM. Her V4 sleep schedule is one hour later than her V3 debut (9 PM start), so plan your evening care accordingly.
How to Get Pyonkotchi on V4
Step 1 — Keep skill points low. Total skill points must be under 80 at adult evolution. Skip school visits and avoid the skill-building games (Shape, Dance, Flag).
Step 2 — Give good care. Keep care mistakes to 0–2. Answer hunger and happiness calls promptly.
Step 3 — Wait for evolution. Any female teen with these conditions can become Pyonkotchi. Evolution occurs 24–48 hours into the teen stage.
Evolution Line
Baby: Tsubutchi → any toddler → any female teen with low skill points → Pyonkotchi.
Fun Facts
Pyonkotchi debuted on the Tamagotchi Mesutchi (1997) and became a mainstay on the V3 and V4. On V3 she was a Serious Odd generation adult; on V4 she moved to the Universal Group. She is the female counterpart of Pyonchitchi.
Food Preferences
Pyonkotchi loves Bananas — consistent across multiple versions, making her one of the easier characters to feed well. She dislikes Milk, so avoid that item. The V4 shop rotates snacks, so check frequently for Bananas.
Personality & Raising Tips
Since you’re intentionally keeping skill points low for Pyonkotchi, redirect time toward earning Gotchi Points through default minigames. Discipline her normally — the discipline meter still matters for overall care quality.
How Pyonkotchi Compares
Among Universal females, Pyonkotchi is the healthiest. Hanatchi requires 3 care mistakes and Masktchi requires 4+ neglect. If you want a family-group female, raise skill points above 80 before adulthood.
