Who Is Pipotchi?

Pipotchi is the Connection era’s cupid character — a bright yellow bird-angel hybrid with red heart-shaped ears, wings, and the defining personality trait of always playing matchmaker for everyone except herself. The official profile: “She’s the only one who doesn’t have a boyfriend because she’s always playing the role of cupid in love.” The name comes from “pipo,” a computer-like sound effect, giving the character an electronic edge that sits oddly next to the romantic lore.

Pipotchi originated on the Tamagotchi Mesutchi (one of the Japanese gender-split devices from the late 1990s) and appeared internationally starting with V3. On V3, she’s one of three even-gen Naughty adults alongside Dorotchi and Bill. The Naughty tier requires mental neglect during the teen stage — missing happiness and discipline calls more than hunger calls. Because she’s even-gen only, Gen 1 runs won’t produce Pipotchi; you need at least Gen 2.

How to Get Pipotchi on V3

Step 1 — Even generation only

Pipotchi requires an even generation. Breed your Gen 1 adult to reach Gen 2. Odd-gen Naughty adults are Tarakotchi, Paparatchi, and Mimiyoritchi.

Step 2 — Mental neglect during teen stage

The Naughty tier needs more mental mistakes than physical: miss happiness and discipline calls for 15+ minutes more often than hunger calls. Aim for roughly 5+ mental vs. 2–3 physical mistakes.

Step 3 — Random draw among Naughty even-gen adults

With Naughty care on an even generation, you’ll get one of: Pipotchi, Dorotchi, or Bill. Random 1-in-3 draw.

Who Should Raise Pipotchi?

Pipotchi suits players who want the Naughty even-gen character with the strongest pre-V3 pedigree. The cupid angle is one of the more specific personality concepts in the Connection roster, and the bird-angel design is visually distinctive. If you’re running even-gen Naughty to complete that tier, Pipotchi is statistically equal to Dorotchi and Bill — character preference is the only differentiator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Pipotchi in the 2024 Connection rerelease?

Yes, as a Naughty even-gen adult. Note: the 2024 rerelease gives Pipotchi Sundaes as a favorite and Sausages as a dislike, which differs from the V3 data (parfaits/corn dogs). Use the V3 food data above if you’re running the original V3.

Is Pipotchi male or female on V3?

Gender-neutral on V3 — either gender can become Pipotchi with the same care requirements.
