What Is It?
Debirutchi no Tamagotchi launched in Japan in September 1998. You raise a Deviltchi — the mischievous spirit of a deceased Tamagotchi — training it to behave and trying to win it over. Its darker theme and demanding care make it the most distinctive of the vintage spin-offs.
Key Features
- Devil theme — the dark counterpart to the Angel.
- A discipline/befriending mechanic at its core.
- Famously rare and collectible.
Is It Worth Getting Today?
For serious collectors only. The Devilgotchi is one of the most coveted vintage Tamagotchi, Japan-only and scarce, so genuine units command high prices. A grail piece rather than a casual buy.
