Bbmarutchi

Special Character · All Fields · Planet Leveling
⚡ Not a normal raise — Bbmarutchi is obtained through a specific method and cannot be obtained through regular care
Who Is Bbmarutchi?
A giant version of Babymarutchi — the same pastel yellow blob your Tamagotchi starts as, but much, much larger. Bbmarutchi never grew up. It looks identical to Babymarutchi in design, just scaled up considerably, with a permanently bewildered expression that perfectly captures its situation.
Despite never properly evolving into a Kid, Bbmarutchi is classified as an adult for all planet leveling purposes. This makes it the cornerstone of the fastest method for reaching Planet Level 10.
Stats
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Hunger drops every | 5 minutes |
| Happiness drops every | 10 minutes |
| Sick chance after care mistake | 35% |
⚠️ Bbmarutchi has the stats of a baby, not an adult. It is by far the most demanding character in the entire game to keep alive. Plan accordingly.
How to Get Bbmarutchi
Bbmarutchi is obtained by preventing your Babymarutchi from accumulating 4 matching field cells — the threshold that would normally trigger evolution into a Kid.
Step by step:
Step 1 — Hatch a new egg
Start from any new egg. Field doesn’t matter — Bbmarutchi can be raised in any field.
Step 2 — Switch fields every 12–14 minutes
When Babymarutchi is in a field, it gains one field cell every 15 minutes. Accumulate 4 matching cells and it evolves into a Kid. To prevent this, switch to a different field before the 15-minute mark.
Set a repeating phone timer for 12–13 minutes. Switch fields every time it goes off. Keep rotating through all available fields.
Step 3 — Maintain for 4 hours total
After 4 continuous hours of field-switching without accumulating 4 matching cells, Babymarutchi automatically transforms into Bbmarutchi.
Step 4 — Planet levels up
Bbmarutchi counts as an adult for planet leveling purposes. When its life cycle ends, your planet levels up just as it would after raising a normal adult.
Step 5 — Start the next generation
Bbmarutchi cannot breed. To move on, go to Lab Mode → Help → New Egg.
The 15-Minute Rule
The critical thing to understand: if Babymarutchi spends 15 full minutes in any one field, it earns a field cell for that field. Earn 4 matching cells and it evolves — the Bbmarutchi window is closed for that generation.
Switching at 12–13 minutes gives you a comfortable buffer. Switching at 14 minutes is technically safe but nervous-making. Never let it sit for a full 15.
If the evolution prompt appears: You can ignore it up to three times before it forces the evolution. If it appears, you’ve already missed the switching window — the Bbmarutchi route is closed for this generation.
Surviving the 4 Hours
Bbmarutchi’s hunger drops every 5 minutes and happiness every 10. During your 4-hour field-switching window, you will be:
– Switching fields every 12–13 minutes
– Feeding Bbmarutchi every 5 minutes
– Playing a game every 10 minutes to maintain happiness
This is intense. It requires your full attention for the entire duration. Do not attempt this during a busy period. Best done on a free morning with no interruptions.
Tips for the run:
– Stock your shop with food before starting — you’ll be feeding constantly
– Play the UFO mini-game for happiness — it’s the fastest method (+10 win, +5 loss)
– Keep your phone timer repeating — missing a single switch window because you forgot won’t immediately end the run but it raises the risk of accidentally hitting 4 cells
– Lab Mode mini-games can be played during Bbmarutchi’s lifetime to earn Gotchi Points — they don’t affect field cell accumulation
Why Bother?
Without Bbmarutchi, getting from Planet Level 6 to Level 10 requires raising a full adult for each level. A Baby-to-Adult cycle takes roughly 2–3 days minimum. Four levels = potentially two weeks.
With Bbmarutchi, each level takes approximately 4 hours. Levels 6–10 can be completed in one to two focused sessions over a weekend.
After Level 10, your planet is fully developed — all three fields accessible, Normal and Hard Lab Games unlocked, full shop inventory available, all Space Travel planets reachable. The grind is done and you can raise characters purely for enjoyment.
Can Bbmarutchi Breed?
No. Bbmarutchi cannot breed with anyone. The breeding option is unavailable while it’s active. If you want to pass genes to the next generation, you need a normal adult. Bbmarutchi generations are purely for leveling.
Fun Facts
Bbmarutchi’s name is written in Japanese as “でかベビーまるっち” — literally “giant baby Marutchi.” The “Bb” prefix in English stands for “Big Baby.”
Despite its simple appearance, Bbmarutchi is the most mechanically demanding character to keep alive in the entire game — more demanding than any of the heavy-neglect adults with fast stat drain. The irony of a baby being harder to maintain than a neglected adult is very much intentional.
