Sale Day Calendar

The Tamagotchi Paradise shop runs sales twice a month on a predictable schedule. Knowing when to stock up means you’ll always have what you need without burning through Gotchi Points at full price. This page is your quick reference.

The Sale Schedule

Sale Day What’s 50% Off
5th of the month Food and Snacks
15th of the month Food and Snacks
25th of the month Food and Snacks
10th of the month Outside Toys and Deco Items
20th of the month Outside Toys and Deco Items
30th of the month Outside Toys and Deco Items

Sales happen on the in-game date, not your real-world calendar date. The in-game date advances as you play, so check your device’s date if you’re not sure where you are in the month.

What to Buy on Food Sale Days (5th, 15th, 25th)

Food and Snack sales are the more important of the two for active players. Half-price food means you can stockpile your target foods well ahead of a planned Kid stage without spending twice as much.

Priority purchases on food sale days:

  • Meat, Plankton foods, and Chicken — these are primarily shop purchases rather than Egg Hunt drops, so sale days are your main opportunity to stock up cheaply
  • Snacks — especially Love Love Ice Cream (for guaranteed breeding success) and Cheerful Popcorn (which gives your Tamagotchi a Vitamin cell that prevents one sickness)
  • Cooking ingredients — if cooking is unlocked, bulk-buying raw ingredients on sale days lets you make cooked meals throughout the month at effectively discounted prices
  • Random Jelly / Random Boba — these have a random chance of giving your Tamagotchi a Vitamin cell, worth keeping a small supply on hand

What you don’t need to worry about: Field-specific Egg Hunt drops (Seaweed, Corn, Bamboo Grass, etc.) aren’t typically shop purchases, so sale days don’t really affect them.

What to Buy on Toy and Deco Sale Days (10th, 20th, 30th)

Outside Toys give your Tamagotchi something to interact with in the field and provide a passive happiness source. Deco Items let you customize your New Tamagotchi Planet’s appearance.

Priority purchases on toy sale days:

  • Outside Toys for your active field — pick up toys for the field you’re currently spending most time in. Your Tamagotchi interacts with them automatically in Field View
  • Planet decorations — if you’re working toward a specific look for your planet, sale days cut the cost in half
  • Items you’ve been saving up for — any big-ticket deco purchases are worth delaying until the 10th, 20th, or 30th

Planning Around the Calendar

The sale cycle repeats perfectly every month, so once you know the pattern you never need to look it up again:

  • Every 5 days something is on sale
  • Food sales and Toy/Deco sales alternate — there’s never a gap of more than 5 days before some kind of sale

A simple way to think about it: check for sales every time you pick up your device in the first half of the month on the 5th and 10th, and the second half on the 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th.

Gotchi Points: Earning vs. Spending

Sale days are most valuable when you have Gotchi Points to spend. If you’re not running Lab Mode games regularly, you might reach a sale day with nothing in the bank.

The fastest ways to build a Gotchi Point reserve:
Lab Mode games at Hard difficulty (unlocked at Planet Level 9) — highest points per session
Delivering Vitamin at higher difficulties — better ceiling than Feeding Baby Milk
Daily Lab game sessions — even Easy mode adds up over time if you’re consistent

A good rhythm: run a couple of Lab games each day, let the balance accumulate, then spend strategically on sale days rather than buying at full price whenever you happen to need something.

The Tama Sitter: Worth Every Point

One shop item worth calling out specifically — the Tama Sitter. It’s not discounted on sale days (it’s a service, not an item), but it’s arguably the most valuable thing in the shop for serious players.

The Tama Sitter watches over your Tamagotchi when you can’t, preventing care mistakes from accumulating. During a perfect care run, a single missed call can knock you out of the 0-mistake requirement. The Tama Sitter is your insurance policy for busy days, meetings, sleep, and anything else that takes you away from the device for an extended stretch.

If you’re going for a perfect care character and have a busy day ahead, spend the points on a Tama Sitter rather than risking the run.
